One of my favorites, Tammy Bruce, exposes the sexism that reeks from the left side of the aisle.  The sad part is that they don’t even realize they are being sexist.  Oh, sort of like not realizing when they are being racist……Now I understand.

I happened to run across this post over at Gay Patriot and couldn’t agree more.  Andrew Sullivan, although I think he has some great gifts in thought and writing, is the current poster child for cognitive dissonance.  Oh, the twists and turns we must weave to relieve our anxiety when attitudes and facts and behavior and beliefs don’t match.  This is such a big problem for the left.  They just keep making all these “intellectual modifications” until there is no way out.  And we certainly wouldn’t want to change our minds, would we?

Well, I was at I Have a Few Questions.  And I still do have a few questions.  Lately things have been a bit more clear as I sort through this life of ours.  I think I am also becoming stronger in my views and opinions and not as likely to back down.  I’m realizing that others do not have some sort of monopoly on smarts.  And most importantly, my sarcasm has kicked back in.  Not that that is a good thing, but is is useful at times.

This looks to be a good day to start back blogging again.  I have been taking a break for some time now, but as the presidential election moves into its final phase and cognitive dissonance is on the rise, a new lease on blogging life and a new name might spur some motivation.

Think I’ll spend the evening updating links and the Blog Roll to get things going again.  There has been so much happening it’s hard to know where to begin.  The new blog name seems quite appropriate for all that we are seeing now as the two political sides do battle.  And which side do you suppose is suffering from the most dissonance?  Not hard to figure that out now is it?
